Hotel Antares Muenchen - Munich

Explore Munich, just a short walk to many attractions and cafes. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of delicious options and the staff were friendly. The room sizes can feel cramped, especially if you're traveling with larger luggage.

My breakfast was fantastic with sausage and assorted jams, for instance. It had marvellous and magnificent location not too far from a State gallery.

A very good breakfast for this class of hotel!

Location a bit distant from metro and tram, carpet floors give an outdated feel, noise from nearby restaurants on weekends!!! Limited space for larger suitcases, inadequate closet access with luggage near floor!!! Small TV inadequate for viewing!!!

I found Hotel Antares to be a fantastic value. Splitting the room between four people meant we could stay in a nice hotel for the price of a hostel.

The location was farther from the subway/metro than we had been led to believe.

Lovely bed in the triple room, plus a mini-bar, satellite TV and climate control. Great location, 4-6 minutes walking distance from a modern art museum. Nice enough area near public transport, and many great restaurants/bars, sights in the city, and U-bahn.

The breakfast spread offers a wide variety and is available from 6:30 to 10:30, perfect for early risers. The small terrace at the back serves as a nice retreat for relaxation when the weather permits.

The lack of air conditioning in the rooms, especially with outside temperatures soaring. Road work caused early wake-up calls and an overall noisy experience .

I've stayed in munich before, but this time at antares was a pleasant surprise. The room was clean and cozy, and the breakfast was a good spread with many options. Being so close to the museums and city center.

the location was magnificent and the room was clean. a shopping street and a market were right next door. booked double room with a double bed. i got an incredible and extensive breakfast with smoked salmon and real scrambled eggs, for instance.

The reception staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast offered a good selection, including homemade cakes and fresh fruit that enhance the start of the day. The room, although compact, was well-designed and provided a peaceful stay, boasting a lovely view of a charming garden. The underground parking was quite challenging for larger vehicles, and the somewhat tight quarters could feel cramped. While clean, the room might benefit from more space, particularly for longer stays.

The room and facilities were perfectly acceptable, though not flashy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was well-placed between the museum area and the old town centre. A no-nonsense, old style hotel, with exceptionally good breakfasts.

Prices were triple normal because of Oktoberfest, but still better than many others.
